Danielle McLane is the visionary Founder and CEO of “Diamond Beauty Academy” and her work is rooted in calling, not coincidence.

 

Danielle began her professional journey in corporate finance, serving as a Chief Financial Officer and leading at the highest levels of business strategy and fiscal responsibility. She mastered balance sheets, growth models, and sustainability. But after surviving a life-altering CVI stroke, she came to understand something even deeper, her purpose. Recovery forced her to slow down. It required resilience. And in that vulnerable season, she rediscovered the power of beauty, science, and self-expression, not as vanity, but as restoration. Beauty became a vehicle for confidence. Science became proof that creativity and intellect belong in the same room. Entrepreneurship became the bridge to ownership and independence.

 

What started as her personal healing journey transformed into a mission and that’s she founded Diamond Beauty Academy to educate, equip, and empower young women and men, especially those from under-resourced communities who desire careers in beauty, haircare, fashion, and cosmetic innovation. Danielle believes that young people deserve more than trends; they deserve tools. They deserve to understand formulation, financial literacy, branding, workforce development, and mental wellness. They deserve to know that creativity is not separate from STEM, it is an extension of it.

But more importantly, she is an advocate for equity, mental health, economic mobility, and the brilliance she sees in the next generation every single day.
